A redesigned financial services app that improves usability, simplifies navigation, and enhances user trust while maintaining Navi’s accessibility and reliability.

Context

The Navi app, a leading financial platform offering loans, investments, health insurance, and UPI payments, faced usability challenges that created friction in user journeys. Despite high engagement, complex navigation and ambiguous UI elements hindered user experience. The goal was to simplify interactions, improve clarity, and build user confidence while ensuring a seamless experience across all financial services.

My Role

Led the UX/UI redesign, focusing on improving navigation, simplifying interactions, and creating a consistent design system for better usability.

Challenges

Reducing friction in user journeys caused by information architecture.

Improving clarity in UI elements to minimize ambiguity.

Ensuring a seamless experience across different financial services (loans, investments, insurance, and UPI).

Strengthening user trust through transparency and consistent interactions.

Research

Personas were created based on assumptions and secondary research, representing key user groups and their likely behaviors.

Feature priorities for each persona were assigned by evaluating their assumed needs and typical usage patterns.

Overall feature priority for the app was determined by aggregating persona-based priorities, focusing on delivering maximum value across different user segments.
